Description: On January 31st, ASHRAE Halifax Chapter will be hosting Olivier Brodeur for a presentation and discussion on the updates to ASHRAE Standard 62.2 & Sorbent Technology. In its latest edition of the standard governing air quality, ASHRAE has expanded the IAQP (Indoor Air Quality Procedure) air quality calculation method. This calculation method, which is based on performance, allows designers to better understand the interactions that affect the air quality of a building both in terms of the types of materials of concern to be monitored, their emanations and their concentrations. boundaries. This presentation provides an overview of the specificities of this calculation method, particularly through examples to highlight its benefits, particularly in terms of energy savings.
