Home Energy Report Pilot Is Now Closed

Since 2013, the Home Energy Report has been helping Nova Scotians understand and manage their energy use. Your home had signed up for the Home Energy Report to view your energy use online.

Over 90,000 participants received their report in the mail, while another 12,000, like you, signed up for online versions. The reports encouraged homeowners to decrease their energy use, as they compared their energy use to neighbors and took action on customized energy saving  tips . More than 82,000 Tip Actions were taken since 2013, which resulted in many homes saving energy and money on power bills.

After July 20th, 2016, the Home Energy Report program will end, and you will no longer be able to access your profile.

The Home Energy Report was introduced as an innovative, three-year pilot project. As we bring the pilot to a close, we’re prepared to help all Nova Scotians understand their energy use through our Residential Profile.

Through this new, easy-to-use, online tool, homeowners and renters can answer simple questions about their home and receive automatic solutions to improve their energy efficiency.
