Course Overview: The Introduction to RETScreen® Expert course is a one-day program for new users of the RETScreen® Expert software or those beginning to analyze or manage energy use in buildings. It includes presentations, hands-on exercises, and knowledge-based activities. Participants learn to use the software to evaluate clean energy options, energy production savings, costs, financial viability, risks, GHG emission reductions, and project performance. The course covers tools like feasibility analysis, performance analysis, and portfolio analysis. Additionally, participants receive a free 30-day trial subscription to the software. Learning Objectives: • Understand the basic functionalities and uses of the RETScreen® software. • Learn to centralize key energy-related data using the software. • Develop an in-depth understanding of energy efficiency (EE) concepts. • Learn to set up energy analyses and benchmark consumption. • Conduct basic feasibility analyses in RETScreen® Expert.
