Course Overview: Small Commercial Air System Design is an advanced 3-day course that builds on the foundational knowledge from the Small Commercial Heat Gain & Heat Loss Calculations course. Participants will learn to design efficient air distribution systems for small commercial buildings up to 3 stories and 600 square meters per story. Key topics include fan laws, duct types and configurations, air distribution methods, low velocity duct system design, air delivery systems, fire damper installation, and sizing of supply and return air ducts. The course also covers the selection of registers and grilles, C.F.M calculations, external static pressure, and sheet metal fittings. A digital course manual is included, with an option to purchase a hard copy. NOTE: A Duct-A-Lator is recommended for this course.
